Push Off, Devil! Oh… And You Owe Me My Life Back!

Resistance

In the Name of Jesus, I prohibit the spiritual powers assigned to me to hinder my family. I arrest them in the Name of Jesus and legally declare that they are blocked from entry into my current circumstances. All of these blockades my enemies have constructed to hinder my forward progression I tear down in the Name of Jesus. These obstacles and blockages cannot persist, for in the Name of Jesus I pull them down. Clothed in the Almighty Jesus and His work on the Cross, I set myself against these spiritual powers. I submit myself to the care and control of Jesus Christ and oppose the work of the Devil in my life. Therefore, Devil, you must run with haste. I bring every lying spirit, haughty voice of darkness, and philosophy of man to nothing – I silence them in the authority vested in Jesus Christ. I seize them and bring them under the Truth of God’s Word and declare them powerless to work and powerless to rise back up from the dust. In the authority of Jesus Christ I request legal vindication and recompense for the Enemy’s thievery, demanding that his kingdom, his supply, and his territory be taxed to pay back
100 fold that which he has unlawfully sought to steal from the saints of God.

I, Paul, myself entreat you, by the meekness and gentleness of Christ—I who am humble when face to face with you, but bold toward you when I am away!— I beg of you that when I am present I may not have to show boldness with such confidence as I count on showing against some who suspect us of walking according to the flesh. For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ, being ready to punish every disobedience, when your obedience is complete. … Look at what is before your eyes. If anyone is confident that he is Christ’s, let him remind himself that just as he is Christ’s, so also are we. For even if I boast a little too much of our authority, which the Lord gave for building you up and not for destroying you, I will not be ashamed.
~ paul, The Least of The Apostles, in 2 Corinthians 10

Oh beloved, it is true.

Our life will have some extended moments where the liar will come in and tell us that we are done for. Usually, it will focus around a scheme where he had pulled us out into some fear or failure, and then when something bad happens to us, he will try to bang us over the head with it and try to get us to believe that G_d is punishing us for our weaknesses.

Then, he will scheme even further. He will work to distort the truth about what we are. A true believer lives a life that looks like it is impossible. It is impossible. We live in love for others and work to help them find freedom. So, people look on with curiosity and even incredulity. And it is here that the liar comes in and tempts them to pre-judge and then continue to judge the warrior in front of them.

It is truly a scheme of the evil one. Undercut the warrior from within, and from without.

But, as all lies do, they run out of strength. Truth always works itself back through the cracks in the concrete of deception that has been poured over it. People begin to notice that they may have been wrong, and they start to run for the exits.

Further, even though damage has been done in the natural, the effects actually move good people to new places, where they can have an even deeper impact for the Kingdom. The parochial little place of judgement we have been in, now becomes a launching pad for us to move into even greater effectiveness.

Then we see it. Oh, it is all grace. Everything is grace. We begin to see that G_d takes the bad that has been happening to us, and He makes it good. But then, it gets better!

Can we see it?

G_d does not want us to simply recover from the attacks of the enemy. He wants us to counterattack. Oh, in our own strength we will be decimated. As Andrew Womack has said, “If you don’t know your authority in Christ, satan will eat your lunch and pop the bag.” However, once we know who we are IN HIM, we have a platform from which to operate.

For this fool of a writer, i have just been going through almost six of the toughest months of my life. And this was on top of the toughest six years of my life. The devil almost had me convinced that i was a goner. Liar.

So, here it goes. Read along beloved, and speak regarding your own story. Stand in Christ Alone. He is your Salvation and Length of Days.

Satan, you are a deceiver. You have taken relationships away from me that are good and wholesome. You have taken a job away from me that i have been destined to have for 30 years. You have tempted me, and you have attacked my body with various pain and sickness. You have messed with my children. You have hurt my wife. And to all of this, I say: The LORD Jesus rebuke you, Liar!

And, as the very brother of The Son of your Creator, I personally stand against you. I bind your works in my life. Further, I loose all the goodness and strength that יהוה has poured into my by His Very Holy Spirit.

And finally, I not only claim my life back, I demand war reparations. I demand, in the Name of my Brother and King, Jesus of Nazareth that for every place you have entered with a scheme into my life, or into the lives of people within my sphere of influence, that you return to me 100-fold what you have stolen. You, liar and your minions, are to use the measures provided you by my Brother as to what that 100-fold return is. However, you are now bound to do this – and you have no escape from this repayment. It is written: you have been defeated and put to open shame. You therefore have no place in my or my family’s life. You are dismissed, and your repayment begins immediately.

In Jesus’ Mighty Name.

So, are you feeling like the devil is making time in your life? It happens. But lies always run out of strength. And Truth always wins. Tonight is your night. Tell the devil you want your stuff back 100-fold.

We don’t take the Devil’s guff! We take his prisoners.
