Crisis leads to promotion and elevation. Those things, situations and circumstances that threaten to take you down are in fact causing you to rise up in the power of My might that you might surmount every obstacle and fulfill your ordained purpose. Your challenge and the crisis you face today attract My power and My strength to you. My grace and My power is sufficient for you and perfected in you even under the greatest pressures… Do not allow your prevailing situation to be an obstacle for your faith. Everything – even the plans and strategies of the enemy are leading to a manifestation of My majesty and greatness in your life. This is where My sovereignty and providence come together in a synthesis of breakthrough. You are not going to have time to be intimidated by the enemy – rather be raptured by the greatness and mystery of how I am going to break through at the proper moment and establish you in an unimpeachable victory.

For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts. “For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall My word be that goes out from My mouth; it shall not return to Me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it. “For you shall go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and the hills before you shall break forth into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. Instead of the thorn shall come up the cypress; instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle; and it shall make a name for the Lord, an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.”

Oh beloved, it is true. Jesus is the King of The Universe. It is Him, in His fullness as both Man and G_d, that has done the going before us. It is Him and His work in Life and Death and Resurrection that makes any of the following even conceivable.
But remember, if G_d has conceived it, it can be done. And if He says it. That settles it.
The passage is surely about Him and what He will do. But the passage has additional meaning that is fulfilled in the fullness of the gospel. Jesus has become the Firstborn of many brethren, and we are to do things even greater than He did in His earthly ministry.
Read the passage again. It is His promise and work, but one of the ways to see this is that just as He used David to be a herald of His steadfast Love to Israel, He is using the full Israel of G_d (that is you and i) to call the nations of the world to know Himself.
At first, this is incredibly hard to believe for the believer. We are used to being the sinner. We are used to being those too weak to accomplish anything – because we are. We walk around failing and bumbling and breaking things so badly that we cannot even comprehend being those who will change nations – let alone ourselves. And in addition to our own failures, the world is deeply broken and heaving in wretchedness around us.
We get this part of the gospel: Apart from Him, we are broken and bleeding. But we often completely miss the best part of the very good news of Jesus Christ: In Him, we are whole and real and free and powerful beyond measure. Said more simply: In abiding in Him, we can’t lose. And it doesn’t matter how many people, demons or eruptions of our own flesh try to take us out.
However, can we see it? His ways are even still much higher than ours. Our thinking has to go to a completely different level for us to even begin to walk within the strength and bandwidth He has in mind. Not only does He NOT want us to lose, He wants to plant us in the middle of the battlefield in such a way that it simply establishes a victory of His peace – and changes the world for His glory.
There is coming a time where nations will literally run towards us in acceptance of the Peace and Good News which we bear. The L_RD will establish an ever-deepening freedom within both the people of that Kingdom and all the aspects of the same. Nature and politics and economics and industry and art and all of life will grow in a wholeness that will never be corrupted again.
So, are you feeling the crises of the world beloved? Are the truly bad things you have experienced (and done) weighing you down? It is time to rise above the fray of self and the world. It is time to walk as a herald of His grace on the battlefield of life. Fear not. You simply cannot lose.
