Please pray for Jakarta. Much of the 2nd largest metro area on the planet is under water. We (my family and our maid) are safe for now, even though we have lost power for some hours. We have many days of water and food and live on the 5th floor of an apartment building… The prayer is for the millions of working poor who are having their lives inundated with foul water and trash. The average wage for most workers is under $200 USD per month… this is an event that may ‘break’ 100’s of thousands of lives here in the developing world.
The Lord sits enthroned over the flood; the Lord sits enthroned as king forever. May the Lord give strength to his people! May the Lord bless his people with peace!
