I realize that many Christians have not been praying because they have not accepted the reality of war in which we find ourselves. There is a spiritual war mode that we must appropriate. It is an aggressive stance that we take against evil. It is governed by love for people, but it is fearless and uncompromising with the powers of darkness that manipulate people to fulfill evil plans.

Besides this you know the time, that the hour has come for you to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed. The night is far gone; the day is at hand. So then let us cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light. Oh, beloved we are in it deep. The battle for our eternal soul may be over, but the battle to keep us from being instrumental in the saving of any others is well underway.
Satan loathes the One who has, does and will defeat him. There is a desperate hatred in this fallen being for Him to whom all Glory, Honor and Power is both due and given.
And do not be deceived, he doesn’t give a rip about me or you. Our beloved has come to make us His perfect and spotless and forever bride. The accuser only wants make us his whore for a few breaths of this passing temporal existence. The liar will simply work to separate us from righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit that he might spite G_d.
There is no option. The battle is on. We cannot turn our backs. The full-armor of Light is missing a piece on purpose.
It has no back.
Oh, surely the mercy of G_d is a covering that keeps us from being destroyed if we turn for a moment, but the damage that evil can inflict goes deep into the core of who we are.
Would that we might rather stand, facing forward, teeth clenched, sword wielded in the Power of His Might – taking the ground that will be taken for The Kingdom of Heaven and His Glory.
Join me friends, facing forward, interceding through Prayer, proclamation of The Gospel, and sacrificial-unconditional Love to all mankind.
There is no going back. DO NOT LISTEN to the taunts of the enemy. DO NOT LISTEN to the veiled attempts at negotiating some sort of peace with evil. G_d’s terms here are clear. Satan is defeated, and we only join Christ in His victory through absolute surrender to His work. There is no middle ground.
