Soaking In The Flow of His Presence

Fountain of life, and all-abounding grace,
Our source, our center, and our dwelling place!
~Madame Jeanne Marie de La Mothe Guyon (1648-1717)

Be silent in the presence of the Lord GOD; For the day of the LORD is at hand, for the LORD has prepared a sacrifice; He has invited His guests.
~ Zephaniah 1: 7

There is, beloved, this great privilege for the believer.  We have been united with Him.  We are not ever alone.  Not ever.  Not even ever.  Never again.

It is this place of full joy.  A place of hearing Him speak of real truth and joy and love and life and friendship and laughter and wisdom and goodness and the whole framework of how it all works together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.

It is the place to be.

Now surely, G_d is everywhere.  But just like a human being in proximity, one can actually feel Him in His nearness now as we open ourselves to Who He really is.

And oh my, He is beautiful.  He is so exceedingly joyful.  He is so exceedingly real.  So real, in fact, that the world around us begins to show itself for the facade that it really is.

We begin to discern all things through an entirely different paradigm.  We now see through a lens with infinite focus.  We now see things for the things they are:  kindling for the fire on that Great Day.  And we now see people for who they really are:  persons infinitely loved by and infinite Being who Himself died that we might all be one with Him.

And in seeing things through this new lens, we begin to see that nothing else really matters except Him.  For He is the Source and Sum and Substance in which we live and move and have our being.  And it is only in gaining our Life from Him exclusively that we are able to really Live our lives in such a way that we can interact with others successfully.

Can i share with you beloved?  G_d is absolutely real.  He is not an idea.  He is not a philosophy.  He is not a system of theology to be believed.  He is a Person.  And He is calling you tonight into an everlasting relationship with Himself.  He died that you might live in Him.  And you, reader, know this – and need to choose Him right now.  i look forward to the moment we all meet together in His Presence and celebrate your choice to join the celebration!

God is not a supernatural interferer; God is the everlasting portion of his people. When a man born from above begins his new life, he meets God at every turn, hears him in every sound, sleeps at his feet, and wakes to find him there.
~Oswald Chambers (1874-1917)
