It is not true to say that God wants to teach us something in our trials. In every cloud he brings, God wants us to unlearn something. God’s purpose in the cloud is to simplify our belief until our relationship to him is exactly that of a child. God uses every cloud which comes in our physical life, in our moral or spiritual life, or in our circumstances, to bring us nearer to him, until we come to the place where our Lord Jesus Christ lived, and we do not allow our hearts to be troubled.

Beloved, He is Light, and in Him is no darkness at all. And WE ARE HIS KIDS…. (i am His favorite! But, so are you! We all are!)
Did you know He is not angry at you? His righteous wrath against us was fully spent on His own Son. He is not out of breath, storing up punishment for believers – He is building the coolest place ever, for us to live when we finally Live with Him forever.
And get this. Not only does G_d Love us with the very Love which He holds Himself together… G_d likes you.
Yeah you.
You too child. Tonight, stop and just know it to be true.
Say it. Because it is most surely true: “G_d likes me. He is my Dad. He sings my name and smiles when He says it.”
Just say it.
Don’t believe yet?
What might this mean to us practically in our lives today?
What if we no longer were occupied by our circumstances? And rather we began, in light of His great Love for us, to overcome and occupy those circumstances instead? What if we actually began to actualize the power this Love holds in our lives?
What if we just flung it out there knowing, REALLY KNOWING that the very G_d who is absolutely powerful and absolutely in Love with us goes before us
and is behind us
and over us
and IN us
and under us
and is working through us
to bring about that most beautiful aspect of creation, the Glory of G_d?
What if we just simply started – right now – to reckon this truth for exactly what it is?
Beloved. He Loves you…. And He really, really likes you.
