This road haunts me in the most beautiful way. i’ve seen it in my mind’s eye… in Malaysia… on the cover of this book… and now in Jamaica during a moment of His ever-precise Providence. He has told me that He has a million more that are to be saved…
And so, down the road we go. There are a few now comforted and visited and saved and fed and housed and loved. But the numbers ahead of us are simply not doable. The mission is impossible. But God! Sounds like an adventure. Want to join in?
What if we could all just die to this world and, by His Grace, fling ourselves into this gargantuan fight against physical and spiritual poverty, hunger, and lack of clean water. Yeah, He could use rocks.
But God has chosen to use us.
What is the life of a man which is truly lived, but that which is imbued by heroic Grace in action? There is no other life. One has only to look to Christ on Easter to be convinced. He is indeed risen. He is King.
He is THE Hero of THE Story.
NEXT UP: April 15th – 21th, a team will go to Honduras to explore the needs, build homes, feed the hungry, comfort orphans, share strength with the disabled, visit those who’ve been abandoned, and be the Love of Jesus amongst them all. Together we can be His hands, feet and eyes in tangible ways.
BOTTOM LINE: i need 100more people on the prayer team for my launch into full-time ministry to the poor. And i am seeking His rapid provision of $100,000 for water projects, ministry, transition and other construction costs. Will you join this adventure to save 1,000,000?
The $100,000 start-up here is a ten-cent per soul deposit on the work He has laid before us.
As always, the primary needs here are not physical or financial. This is not lip-service to the spiritual aspects of this work. We need prayer. This is not about us, but rather it is God working His strength and plans in us and through us. Pray! Give! And PRAY SOME MORE!
they gave the right hand of fellowship to Barnabas and me, that we should go to the Gentiles and they to the circumcised. Only, they asked us to remember the poor, the very thing I was eager to do.
